Movement has always been at the center of my life - as dancer, choreographer, improvisor, teacher of dance, Aikido, Feldenkrais and Continuum.

My interest in movement began with dance, which brought me from Seoul to the US, then Germany. Returning to Seoul, and in 2002, I co-founded with my husband, film director ByungChul Kwon, Soom Movement Dance Company. Soom means “Breath” in Korean.

I met Linda Rabin in 2015, while living in Montreal, Canada. And so began my journey with Continuum. I discovered that I am a part of all life – it was like “a feast of all that is living”. I am grateful for the mentoring process with Linda, further enriched by the classes and workshops with Susan Harper, Elaine Colandrea, Marcella Bottero and Megan Bathory-Peeler.

In 2017, my husband and I opened SpaceSoma, a movement education and healing center in Seoul. There I offer classes and workshops in the movement practices that have inspired my path - dance, Aikido, Feldenkrais and Continuum.

Continuum's questions and infinite possibilities enrich my life. Curiosity, generosity, and an open mind to the unknown world are qualities I so value. I am confident that the changes that take place within each of us through the practice of Continuum will have a positive impact on the world in which we live.
