“The challenges that we face in our lives require us to show up as our best selves, guided by the heart-based wisdom of divine truth. In this truth, we will find the answers that have eluded us, and we will find our way back to one another and back to a place of harmony with the world around us.”

Many Indigenous cultures share a common thread in their stories and doctrines of origin. They believe - they know - they are from the stars. The Dogon tribe of Mali, West Africa orient from the star Sirius, the Australian indigenous peoples from the M42 nebulae in the belt of Orion. The indigenous people of the pre-Hawaiian culture of Mu have a complex doctrine involving multiple star systems. These doctrines contain practical wisdom concerning living in right relationship with each other, with Nature and with being a planetary and cosmic process in continuous flux and flow.
In this class series, we will learn about and explore five different star lineages, taking each one into an experiential embodied inquiry through the art of Continuum. Continuum, as a practice of consciousness, has the capacity to penetrate amnesia, allowing memories in our cells to emerge through sensation, symbol and emotion. It is through our internal experience and knowing that we cultivate emergence into a new paradigm.

LIQUID RESILIENCE - EMBRACING HEALTHY SHAME
FRIDAY MORNINGS • September 13, 20 & 27 • October 18 & 25 • November 8 - December 20 • 8:30-10:00 am ET/2:30-4:00 CET • online via zoom
Open the door this autumn to the body’s inherent wisdom through the moving mindfulness practice of Continuum. These weekly explorations will creatively awaken the physiology of the body with active, fluid body workouts in balance with restorative, expansive explorations asking: What is support? What is strength? What is resilience? What is healthy shame?
"Healthy shame is an emotion which signals us about our limits. Like all emotions, healthy shame is an energy-in-motion. Like all emotions it moves us to get our basic needs met." ~ John Bradshaw
As the world around us continues to be in constant flux, reclaiming our own truth, trusting our own inner wisdom, knowing our own limits, and honing our listening skills has never been more important. What would our lives be like if joy and pleasure are what motivated us? What if we embraced all movement as the medicine that brings us health and vitality? What would it be like to experience stillness from deep inner and outer acceptance instead of being immobilized by fear, anxiety, toxic shame, and overwhelm?
"You can't let your failures define you. You have to let your failures teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently next time." ~ Barack Obama
These weekly offerings will be guided by Megan Bathory-Peeler, an expert somanaut – a true explorer of the body. Think of carving out this 1.5-hour block of time as a personal weekly retreat or spiritual bath. Isn't it time to give your Self the gift of bathing in a pool of rest, reflection, acceptance, compassion, discovery, and inspiration?

September 15, 2024 - 1-5pm ET
In the first of three introductory Words and Waves workshops we will explore the many ways in which marks on paper (writing and drawing) and the full range of embodied movement from cellular, to micro, to dance, feed and enrich the imagination.
In this first workshop we will engage in two “dives”—each one combining a movement prompt and a writing/drawing prompt. Shifting between marking on large drawing paper using penbrushes, to delving deeply through movement/meditation dives, we will experience how the practices of Continuum, using sound and breath, can enhance our creative expression. The Words and Waves practice frees our imagination from constricted and often traumatic ideas of writing and drawing learned in school.
After the first dive we will share our work, a practice which enlivens the community of the workshop and evokes an understanding of the creative field as collective.
October 20, 2024 - 1-5pm ET
In this second workshop we will continue to engage all the explorations we introduced in the first workshop and will welcome newcomers to the circle. We will deepen our understanding of the informative dialogue between cellular movement and imaginative expression. We will explore the ways in which storytelling provides a container and ignites often mysterious and surprising aspects of our subconscious.
November 10, 2024 - 1-5pm ET
In the third workshop we will spend a longer time combining breathing, sounding, meditation and expressing ourselves on paper. We will pick up symbols, characters, and stories that we want to explore more fully. This workshop will allow us to mine our rich somatic memory life, and bring senses of touch, taste, sight, and sound into our writing. We will embrace ways in which actual stories from our lives take flight in our imagination. We will again welcome newcomers to the circle.
Continuum classes are an invitation to slow down and pay attention to our true nature and inner wisdom. Explore the movement of breath, experience voiced sound permeating every cell, and move in fluid, spacious ways that emerge from attention to deeply felt sensation.
Continuum classes are an antidote to the speed and stress of everyday life. They are a support for other movement practices, for the creative process and for other healing modalities.
All life – from a single cell to the universe has a primordial beginning – a first phase of formation, of coming into form. In Continuum, there is the potential to immerse oneself in the primeval, in the early phases of creation. Enter the formless to dissolve tension, self-limiting patterns and habits that no longer serve growth. Embody primordial movement to discover form in new creative ways.
Being in relationship with the cosmos is to be with our true natural state. Humans and each of us individuals are expressions of the universe. As drops in the ocean of being, we are also the ocean. Exploring the felt sense of “wholeness” can teach us. What might we learn that could serve us in our lives?
Join me for this 6-week movement exploration and meditation practice. Sequences of various breaths and sounds along with fluid movement will be offered for each participant to layer at their own pace. There is the potential to feel refreshed, renewed and move alive. Make discoveries that free you up to be an engaged participant in your own life and a vital contributor to this complex world we live in.

Tuesday Virtual Class: Living with Uncertainty
Tuesday Mornings: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM EST.
There is always more to be with, to attune to. Joining with the relational field increases the flow and fluidity of life. We are not separate but part of the larger whole. As we engage with the undulating mystery of fluid movement, we expand our consciousness and generate new capacities to greet uncertainty, hence perceiving new possibilities outside of past conditioning.

Thursday Virtual Class: Living with Uncertainty
Thursday 12 Noon - 2 PM EST
Living with uncertainty can be challenging, sometimes excruciatingly hard. Ironically, uncertainty is one of the few things of which we can be certain. Continuum practices build an intimate relationship with the vast potential within the body as well as create a relational intimacy with all that is alive. We invigorate our inner waters, increasing the choreography of relationship with-in and beyond. In this series we enter an inquiry, an embodied practice of finding/ sensing/feeling the possibilities that can be realized when we embrace uncertainty with a renewed reverence to the mystery.

Physical characteristics, perception, environment, life cycles, habits, cultural representation and economic exploitation of nature tend to separate us from the animal world.
Can our evolutionary past and our perceptive capacities guide us to undo what we have learned and reinvent our belonging to the animal world?
Can we evoke with our corporeality the way of perceiving, inhabiting and being of other living beings?
What can other animals teach us about the world and Life?
I suggest that we explore these questions together.
Weekly Continuum classes on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 pm CET (French time).
New Beginnings......Creative Unfoldings
An 8-week series: October 3 – December 2. This is a time in the world when we are being asked to move with change in unexpected, and at times, unpredictable ways. In response to this world climate I am proposing to return to the basics of this practice – the sensation of breath, the vibrational power of sound and the sheer pleasure of being fluid movement. With slowing down and paying attention to our felt-sense, we deepen presence and our ability to move with change. Paying attention to the uniqueness of each moment brings awareness to the continuous opening of possibility, to the creative and innovative unfolding of our organism. We may emerge feeling nourished, revitalized and inspired, ready to engage in the world with renewed energy.
2 Options:
Mondays, Oct. 7 – Dec. 2, 6pm-8:15pm (EST) on Zoom
Thursdays, Oct. 3 – Nov. 28, 9:30am-11:45am, in person (limited to 10 participants)
Fee: 8 classes, $200

Enter the holy realm of your body.
Here is the house of spirit, the domain of your soul. In this Cathedral, resonance rings the bells of your belonging.
You are a weaving of water, of light and of song.
Re-enter the temple gates and place your hands on the drum of your heart. Rest along the river banks of your back and sink into the waters of your fluid midline. Notice how the tide of your breath unfurls, opening room upon room, chamber within chamber. Feel the waves that ripple through your inner sea and spread into the great lakes of your legs, open the tributaries of your arms. Behold the luminous light beaming from the great sun of your heart.
This is a journey through our sacred architecture. In this class we will re-imagine our preconceived notions of body and enter afresh with curiosity and awe. We will explore skeletal, membrane, tissue and gland. We will take up residence in the community of the belly, in the brilliant solar field of the heart, in the celestial vault of the cranium. We will rediscover our feet, our root, our hands. Here, every movement is prayer, every sound is blessing. Here, we surrender the incessant thoughts of mind into the song of Being.
In the Cathedral of our body, we find our axis and alignment, establishing firm footing in the truth of our authentic knowing.
Continuum is our art and tool for experiential gnosis. Movement, sound/vibration, felt sensation, attention and breath are guides and teachers for our journey.
Each class will focus on a different aspect of architecture. Every class will consist of content, a laying out and teaching of an experiential Continuum dive, time to practice the dive and a check in.
All classes are on Zoom, recorded and uploaded to Dropbox.

At Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Stockbridge, Massachusetts, USA (Eastern time zone)
The primary language of the body is silent, felt sensation. When you combine the fluid movement and breathwork practices of Continuum and the grounding properties of mindfulness meditation with the healing principles of osteopathic treatment, radical possibilities in well-being emerge.
Restore trust in the wisdom of your body as you allow yourself to sense deeply. Step outside your preconceived notions about your body and discover your inner resources for resilience, adaptability, and change. This workshop offers the tools you need to access this inner healing realm on your own.
This workshop experience can be valuable both as a form of self-exploration and self-care, and as a way for practitioners to develop and deepen the perceptual skills used with patients or clients.
In this workshop we will explore innovative views of:
• ways to perceive “the field of the senses” in ourselves and in others
• why our senses are important
• how your brain, the gut, face, heart, and health are connected
• inner resources for resilience, adaptability, and change
• cultivating curiosity as a way of coping with uncertainty
• radically reimagine how you care for yourself
• refining awareness of internal experience
• our interconnectedness with each other and with nature
Return home with the tools you need to access this inner healing as well as ways to integrate these practices into your daily life so you can nurture a renewed sense of devotion to self-care.
All “levels” of ability and experience are welcome.
Bonnie Gintis offers a unique blend of Osteopathic principles and philosophy, scientific and medical information, poetry, and perceptual inquiry, combined with an opportunity to experience it all through Continuum practice.
Megan Bathory-Peeler, Continuum Teacher, life-long lover of movement, consciousness, connection, creativity, and compassionate communication will be collaborating as Bonnie's assistant in this workshop. For more information about Megan, visit Megan's website: https://somanautiko.com/

We are woven by Mystery from dynamic polar forces we refer to as Masculine and Feminine. In truth, these forces exist beyond notions of gender or role in a realm of
cosmos and chaos, the very essence of who and what we are, the very essence of the Universe itself. These forces weave and wind their way through us, through the
fabric of our lives, our thoughts, our emotions, the voltage of our being. Learning what these forces are, how to live in and through them, how to manage and master
them is our life’s work.
Every culture has many stories, myths, traditions and beliefs regarding how we might corral and contain our diverse energies of dark and light and bring them into
harmony. I resource the indigenous wisdom of ancient pre-Hawaiian Mu culture as well as our more recent western cultural myths as a way to enter the Garden of
Earth, also known as Eden. Here, we live as organic beings in a phenomenal reality, wrestling and molding these massive forces into a spinning convergence of
equilibrium. It is from this state of oscillation that we become artists of our own humanity, sculpted by ancient alchemical pathways of integration and wholeness.
In this five-class online series, we will discuss the nature of these polar forces and how we may bring them into a greater octave of resonance, mutual respect and
collaboration. Continuum, with its intrinsic focus on the experiential and intuitive ways of knowing, will be our main practice. I will also be weaving in other tools and
practices as part of this ceremony. My intention is to offer and weave these elements into practical applications for your ongoing evolution. In my view, we are in a
quantum leap of consciousness, a window of immense potential for liberation, transformation and integration. It is time to become the Garden, to manifest the
Eden within our hearts as embodied beings of Earth and Sky. It is through this reorientation that we honor this extraordinary realm and come to innerstand our true
purpose within it.

“The only difference between a visionary and a lunatic can be determined by how relevant and useful their experiences are to the world they live in.”
– Emilie Conrad, Life on Land
What does peace mean to you? Is it a deep stillness within your being? Is it safety for children around the world? Is it harmonious interactions between humans, animals, and even politicians?
In 2012, founder of Continuum, Emilie Conrad led a peace prayer for the world using a simple Continuum sequence. You can visit it on YouTube.
In these times in 2024, we are at least as much in need of prayers for peace. Continuum, with its gentle breaths, sounding, and mindful movement, is a profound way for us to become more peaceful and, therefore, to be able to share that peace with the world.
This special 3-hour class is intended to support peace on all levels – personal to planetary – through the mindful movement practice of Continuum. Please join us. The world needs this prayer!

Is it a ritual on death and dying? Is it a bunch of kids playing shape-shifting and enjoying themselves as water creatures? Is it a tool for whole-body sensuality? Is it an embodied metaphor for grieving everything that is withering or falling apart, both in ourselves and in the world at large? Is it a Continuum class?
…It might be a bit of all of these things. Through sound, breath, and movement, we will learn a score to playfully and sensually embody our inner octopus, and then go into a collective ritual where we move through its life cycle and dying process. And we‘ll experience everything there is to experience on the way.

Our bones remember. Many ancient wisdom practices acknowledge the bones ability to seed memory. Bone is connective tissue and pathway of vibrational communication and healing. Bone is structure and fluid and matrix.
Exploring in our co-generated field of play, each one of us can self-choreograph to promote ease of movement. This movement practice supports our own body's way of being. We can both renew and re-member through the soundscapes and movement sequences that invoke the spiraling dancers our bones truly are.
Continuum is a liberating and deeply nourishing movement practice inspired by the fluid undulations of Haitian dance. The flow inherent in this practice inspires our body to move organically, beyond rigid and repetitive patterns of conditioned movement.

EMBRACING THE DARK
5 Tuesdays: November 12 - December 10 • 6:00-8:00 pm ET @ Community Yoga & Wellness Studio • 16 Federal Street Greenfield, MA • Suggested Tuition: $125 series
The days are shortening and the nights are getting longer. We can resist the coming of darkness or we can sustain ourselves by coming together for support and inspiration. The amount of work is the same.
People in the northern hemisphere prepare to welcome winter with many kinds of seasonal celebrations. Most of these celebrations involve people gathering and lighting candles, fires, and other displays of lights to summon the life-giving power of the sun to sustain us through the coldest days and longest nights of the year.
Even with the seasonal festivities, this can be a very challenging time of year for many people physically and emotionally. It is a time that invites us to go within, to meet the shadow places between light and dark, night and day, and brightness and shadow. The practice of Continuum provides ways to explore the edges of dark and light, inner and outer, with every breath, sound and movement.
This 5-part workshop will follow one complete lunar cycle - beginning and ending a few days before each Full Moon - and marking every phase between.
Embrace the dark and light your inner fire for the year ahead!
Come light your inner fire by embracing the call to journey inward during this potent time of year. Like birth, we can use these contracting forces to move ourselves forward into the unknown with power and creativity.
Continuum is a deeply meditative practice that increases awareness by cueing the mind and body to slow down with audible breath and subtle movements. Continuum enhances our ability to rest into what is, to be in the Here and Now, and to be happier in our own skins. By reconnecting to what is alive in each of us with more empathy and compassion for ourselves, we may find it easier to perceive the same in others & offer that gift out into the world around us.
Let this 5-part workshop be a personal weekly retreat, or spiritual bath. Give yourself the gift of rest, reflection, acceptance, compassion, discovery, and inspiration at what can be a challenging time of year.
The longer format classes of Continuum are specifically designed to create a time and space for you to explore what it means to be in a human body-mind. Breath, vocalized sounds, meditative awareness, visual imagery, and simple, biological movements will help you recover and restore sensation and increase the innate fluid movement responses of your body that get lost in the speed of modern life and the cultural quicksand of fear, sorrow, and pain.
Appropriate for all ages and abilities. Bring your curiosity and an open mind, and you’ll have everything you need!
Please wear comfortable layers of clothing you feel most cozy in, have a notebook to write in, and a full water bottle on hand.

As movers on an evolutionary pathway, our bodies harbor the potential for free, unconstrained, authentic movement. We have innate abilities to be fluid; to live beyond the constraints, densities and restrictions that can bind us in tension, pain, isolation or distress.
This two day Continuum playshop weaves breath and sound together with movement sequences to restore our wholeness. As individual body and as an integral part of the collective body of all things, human and more than human. Continuum is a powerful self care, movement and life practice for healers, artists, therapists, somatic practitioners, and anyone with a body – especially eldering bodies.
This practice involves simple sound streams, breathing patterns, and slow, organic movements. It restores fluidity to the body after injury and when life’s demands compromise us.
This workshop is suitable for all those committed to a deep exploration of how life reveals itself in each and every breath.
Please click here to register.
This workshop is an invitation to dive deep into the pool of existence within our cells and enter the play of life through Continuum, a practice that involves simple sound streams to stir the fluid that resides within our tissues, breathing patterns, and slow, organic movements.
Over this three-day immersion we will focus on how Continuum aids us to restore fluidity and health to our tissue, our movement, and overall well-being, after specific injuries, chronic stress, and/or exposure to life challenging or traumatic events. We will have opportunities to address specific participant or client issues as defined by the group.
This workshop is open to movement artists and practitioners, therapists, body workers and all those committed to a deep exploration of how life reveals itself in each and every breath and movement we create.

You are warmly invited to join me for this Continuum session inspired by „The Seven Homecomings“ as taught by buddhist teacher and activist Lama Rod Owens.
In an embodied practice of returning to ourselves, and of reminding ourselves of all of the ways in which we are being held and supported at all times, we will play with sound, breath and movement in order to explore each of the seven layers of „homecoming“ in a nourishing and centering dive.

Who is this workshop for?
· People who have presently, or have had a cancer diagnosis in the past.
· People living with cancer as a chronic condition.
· People concerned about cancer in their future.

Workshop Description:
The Cancer Adventureland workshop offers the possibility that cancer can reshape you and open you to the possibility of infusing adventure into new ways of living.
Together, we will explore living and thriving with the uncertainty of cancer. To venture into this territory we will cultivate curiosity, courage, resilience, and the ability to view your life through the lens of possibility rather than catastrophe.
We will explore and develop your relationship to life, and cancer’s role in that relationship. We will consider the many expressions of and doorways to health and healing. You will learn about the common lifestyle practices of people who live and thrive in the presence of cancer. Movement, breath, meditation, and inspiration in the beauty of nature will be our guides to enriching your life. We will cultivate embodied connectedness as our time together reveals your own unique inquiry into the question posed by the poet Mary Oliver, “…what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
