Find inner resources and presence through Continuum Flow classes.
This practice allows a deep awakening of fluid resiliency.
Find your inner 'octopus' and taste what it is like to move between deep fluid stillness, to fluid strength. Where the spiral interplay within allows new connections to emerge. Where old patterns that have bound your tissue and limited your ability to respond begin to unstick and new movements and ways of meeting life's challenges emerge.
In each class we will be exploring different sequences of Continuum breaths, movement plays and awareness.
The classes are held once a month on a Wednesday from 7-8.30pm GMT, 2-3.30pm ET, 11am-12.30pm PST.
22 January, 26 February, 12 March, 2 April , 7 May, 9 July, 6 August, 3 September, 26 November 2025

Open the door this year to the body’s inherent wisdom through the moving mindfulness practice of Continuum. These weekly explorations will creatively awaken the physiology of the body with active, fluid body workouts in balance with restorative, expansive explorations asking: What is support? What is strength? What is resilience?
As the world around us continues to be in constant flux, reclaiming our own truth, trusting our own inner wisdom and honing our listening skills has never been more important. What would our lives be like if joy and pleasure are what motivated us? What if we embraced all movement as the medicine that brings us health and vitality? What would it be like to experience stillness from deep inner and outer acceptance instead of being immobilized by fear, anxiety and overwhelm?
Continuum reminds us how to slow down, quiet our minds and open our hearts. We attune to the subtle movement responses of our body's tissues and fluid systems. As we slow down to the speed of water, our tissues hydrate themselves, becoming less dense (more spacious). This helps us relocate ourselves in our bodies, separate from the sensory overload of modern culture, and drop into a more coherent place in the interconnected web of life. This is all about restoring our relationships with all that is.
True Beginners welcome. In fact, a Beginner’s Mind strongly encouraged for all. If you bring your curiosity and an open mind, you’ll have everything you need!
- Please wear comfortable layers of clothing you feel most at ease moving in.
- Create a comfortable, quiet space to lie down in.
- Have a chair, a notebook to write in, and a full water bottle nearby every week.
These weekly offerings are guided by Megan Bathory-Peeler, an expert somanaut – a true explorer of the body. Think of carving out this 1.5 hour block of time as a personal weekly retreat and give yourself the gift of bathing in a pool of rest, reflection, acceptance, compassion, discovery, and inspiration.

A Virtual Continuum Class for 5 weeks on Tuesdays 9:30 - 11:30 EST on Zoom
Embodied Compassion
The longest relationship we will have in this lifetime is the one with our own body. It is a sacred part of our incarnation. Tending to the nature of our embodiment cultivates a relationship that connects us inwardly and spiritually—not in spite of our physical form, but through it.
When we consciously inhabit our bodies—honoring its signals, listening to its wisdom, softening conditioned patterns—we create the possibility of experiencing wholeness. Sometimes, it’s as simple as slowing down, arriving fully in our own weight, and noticing the ground that supports us. It can be the sacred practice of attuning to the subtle movements, impulses, and expressions within our bio-intelligence—the longings and yearnings for expression, the creative unfolding of our unique selves. It might mean exploring the flow of movement, opening to new responses and possibilities.
Let’s not wait to embrace our loving nature until we feel we are a finished product—until every item on a checklist of self-improvement is complete. Instead, let us trust the evolving, unfolding process of who we are. Through attention, sound, breath, and movement, we can enter the temple of the body as a place to freshly inhabit—to listen, to open, and to offer compassionate movement to the process of simply Being, just as we are.
This fall, we’ll gather for five weeks to dive into the moment-to-moment creativity of love—a love that is enduring, not conditional. Each class will be a vignette—a love note, a doorway—through which we explore the love that we are, and radiate that love outward into the world we share.

At the most intrinsic level of our being, like the ocean, we undulate, pulsate, arc and spiral. Attuning to the body in this way stimulates our body’s capacity for self-regulation and wellness. We feel nourished and refreshed, ready to engage in life with renewed vitality, in connection with others, with all life on this planet, and beyond.
This 4-week class series is open to anyone interested in discovering Continuum, as well as for people with previous experience and who desire to enter more deeply into the basics of the practice. This series prepares participants for any other class series or workshops offered.

In the Northern hemisphere we are approaching the Fall Equinox, a fleeting moment when light and dark have the same duration. After that one point in time the longer nights and shorter days begin to inform our bodies. We are invited to harvest the crops and fruits of our year long journey.
We begin the path towards dissolving.
We begin the path towards letting go of the adaptations that took place during the year.
We begin the path towards resting and listening in.
We begin the path towards exhaling.
We begin the path towards renewal.
Emile Conrad, founder of Continuum, expresses this process in exquisite words:
"I say that all form is temporal. Form is designed to dissolve and reconstitute
in a perpetual act of renewal. Form is movement that has become relatively
stabilized for a given period of time in order to function efficiently in a specific
environment. Whether this form is a marriage or a body or a career, the cycle of dissolution and resolution represents the health of any situation. Stasis and
redundancy create barriers to the life-giving forces that are no longer able to
communicate with us due to our various entrancements."
Emilie Conrad, Life on Land, p.246
After many months of uncertainty and stress we are settling in our new home. I feel the calling to nest and dissolve all the places of frozenness accumulated in my body and heart during these challenging times.
I find the invitation to dissolving simple, yet not easy accessible.
The more I seek the state of what my mind perceives as “dissolving”, the more evident the places of stasis become.
I remember asking Emilie: HOW?????????? How….. do we do it?
Her response was simple…
Start by STOPPING!!!!!!
Take a baseline…. what do you notice? Is your back arched? Can you feel the support of the ground?
Where do you feel breath? Do not try to make it longer… just pay attention!
Make your breath audible…. soft AAAAHHhhhh on your exhale. Just stop when your exhale completes. Respect your breath. SHE is your teacher not me!
What do you notice after you make a sound? Breath is movement! What else moves when you pay attention to your breath?
Now…let your attention be OPEN! No agenda! Listen…. follow… pause… do not interpret… move following what feels good…welcome the unexpected!
Dive into your fluid nature and ancestry! Allow yourself to be nourished!
Can you feel the life-giving forces of your inherent wholeness?
So simple! So profound! And after many years her teachings continue to guide me and inform me during the most challenging transition moments of my life. Thank you Em!
I invite you to join me and a group of committed practitioners during the month of October to explore the cycles of dissolution and resolution in our bodies!
Gathered in community, gifting ourselves time to be with our bodies, paying attention to sensations and new ways of moving is the kindest way of regaining our inherent wisdom to respond in fresh ways to what is being asked from us!
As Craig Foster in his book Amphibious Soul reminds us:
"But we are made of water, and we came from the water, and when our souls need tending, it is often to the water we return."
May we continue to tend and nourish our souls returning to our inner waters!
Hope to see you in October!

Power Retrieval Retreat
October 10-12, 2025 @ Bethel Farm Retreat Center in Hillsborough, NH
For anyone on a spiritual journey, who longs for ways to connect more deeply to the inner self, the spirit world, and a community of like-minded people.
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time…”
—T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets
What if in every moment of your life, you felt capable of handling whatever comes your way? In your most joyful moments or most painful, you knew in your deepest well of being that all would be okay? This power—resilience, awareness and deep presence—is the essence of this Power Retrieval Retreat with Molly McMillan and Megan Bathory-Peeler.
Throughout our lives, we have all given our power away, or had it taken from us, leaving us with a sense of not being whole and wondering what’s missing. Loss of this power, known as soul essence, chi, or prana, can cause illness, depression, pain, fatigue, and feeling disconnected from ourselves or others.
During this weekend workshop, Molly and Bathory-Peeler will expertly guide you in reclaiming your power using shamanic ceremony, Continuum, fascial movement, and journeying. Both women are masterful at holding space and creating a safe and supportive community environment.
At this retreat you will:
• Learn to journey shamanically
• Find a power animal
• Connect with like-minded and supportive people that you’ll want to stay in touch with
• Deepen your sense of belonging to yourself, your community and the larger world
• Learn about setting up sacred space
• Learn about myofascial movement and how it can free you from pain, and tightness, and open up your energetic pathways
• Feel transformed into your authentic self

How you may benefit:
We are thrilled to announce this special autumn retreat taking place at Bethel Farm for the fourth year in a row! Nestled peacefully in the woods, this setting perfectly mirrors the important change of season. The drive to the farm winds down to dirt roads, passing by a waterfall you’ll be welcome to explore during your stay.
Bethel Farm is a place ripe with spiritual energy, where you can see the stars at night. You’ll also enjoy delicious, beautifully prepared food that’s farm-to-table fresh, lots of land for nourishing walks, and a wood-fired sauna and pond for cold plunging. Massages will be available during our down times, as well. There are so many reasons to love being at the farm; this retreat seasons and deepens with each year.
Bethel Farm’s owner has been cultivating the land there for 35 years. The richness of the earth he’s stewarded is reflected in the flavorful field-to-table, vegetarian meals served throughout the retreat. Bethel Farm’s rooms are all shared, some are for two, others for more. If you have a gender preference, let us know. If you want to share with someone, be sure to register together.
Pricing: All meals and the workshop are included in the price.
• Shared Lodging: $880
• Commuter: $780
• Take $30 off if you sign up by September 25, 2025

Our human and more than human story is movement: from the tiniest tremble to mass migration, we move. Movement is a continuum of stillness to dynamic movement and originates with breath, We breathe to move and move to dance. When we dance, we connect with a profound wisdom that has traversed through all forms of life for millennia. From the intricate movements of bees to the graceful glides of whales, the gentle sway of trees to the ever-changing flow of clouds, dance is a universal language. Rituals and ceremonies centered around dance have been integral to countless cultures, although many have been disrupted or concealed through colonization. Dance as ritual, ceremony, therapy, and engagement with life serves as a gateway to transformation, healing, and emergent consciousness through state-shifting.
In this course, we will immerse ourselves in the medium of our bodies, movement, and dance. Our explorations will be guided by Continuum, Polyvagal-informed Dance/Movement Therapy©, and Sacred Dance. Weaving just enough theoretical information with experiential practices and processes refined through years of work with survivors of trauma, this immersive workshop is equally self-care, and support for those who support others. By integrating principles from this framework, which honors both scientific and spiritual dimensions of human healing, we will delve into somatic pathways for state-shifting. Through structured somatic and movement-based
practices, theoretical insights, and creative processes, we will engage with all the ways we dance.
The course is taught in English with French translation.

EMBRACING THE DARK
Tuesday Evenings • October 21 - December 16, 2025 • 6:00-8:00 pm ET • @ Community Yoga & Wellness Studio • 16 Federal Street Greenfield, MA
Journey within to ignite your inner fire!
Autumn is here. As Nature gathers in the sun’s life force to store for the cold months ahead, we can either resist the coming darkness or we can journey within to illuminate and empower who we truly are. The amount of work is the same.
The shortening days and the lengthening nights invite us to go within and explore the liminal places between day and night, brightness and shadow, fear and acceptance. The self-awakening practice of Continuum reminds us to slow down, rest with what is happening in this moment, and reconnect to what is alive in each of us. It’s the perfect time to embrace the contracting forces of our own resistance to meet the unknown with power and creativity.
This can be a challenging time of year for many people. Many people feel tired, drained, and depressed. Give yourself the gift of rest, reflection, acceptance, and inspiration to replenish your life force reserves. The life force we are born with is what ignites the fires within that blaze, glow, or dampen depending on what happens in our lives and how we respond to it.
The longer format classes of Continuum devote time and space to exploring what it means to be in a human body-mind. Guided by breath, vocalized sounds, imagery, and simple biological movement impulses, we recover awareness and restore sensations in the body that are flattened by the speed of modern life and lost in the cultural quicksand of fear, sorrow, and pain.
Make the commitment to yourself this fall. Think of this series of 9 classes as a weekly personal retreat or spiritual bathing. Anything that carries devotion can become a soulful ritual. The secret is, as poet Mary Oliver shares, “to keep the appointment” with ourselves. Generating more empathy and compassion for ourselves, may make it easier to perceive the same in others and let our inner light shine out into the places of shadow and darkness around the globe.
Every Body is welcome! Appropriate for teens and adults of all abilities. No previous experience is required. Bring your curiosity, an open mind, and you’ll have everything you need.
Please wear comfortable layers of clothing you feel like moving in; bring a notebook and a water bottle to each class.
Personal Investment: $25/class • $180 with commitment to all 9 weeks

DESCRIPTION:
We belong to the Earth and to each other. We need each other to survive and thrive. Coming together to voice our interdependence can counteract the forces of fragmentation and destruction that are active across our lands.
In considering how to respond to the chaos of current political and cultural shifts that are happening in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world, some members of the Continuum Teachers Association have envisioned small circles of change in which we can nurture the vision of the world we want to inhabit.
These circles are informed deeply by the practice of Continuum wherein sound, breath, movement, and creative imagery are engaged to awaken the biological intelligence of our bodies in connection with the ecosystems we inhabit.
In this online gathering, we will use simple sounds (like “hum,” “ah,” and “oh”) that anyone can make. No previous experience with Continuum is necessary. The accompanying imagery is designed to elicit the wisdom of trees and mycelial networks that know how to share resources for the health of the community. Like forests of trees, we live in relationship with one another and our well-being is inextricably linked to our human and more-than-human relations in the web of life. We can use our voices to affirm our belonging in the living systems that support us and gain strength from our interconnectedness.
An antidote to isolation and fear, these circles aim to empower each person with renewed energy to take whatever actions feel right as we build a better world together, step by step, breath by breath. Ideally, as we activate small circles of care (for ourselves, each other, and the Earth), we may grow networks of nourishment to counterbalance the stress of the challenges we face. Shamanic healer Shannon Willis calls this “mycelial activism.”
Our long-term vision is for these circles to occur online and in person at various locations across the globe. The simple sounds and images can be practiced in virtual spaces, public parks, creative arts studios, political protests, and anywhere else that inspires a circle facilitator.

A Continuum Mystery Depths offers a place of refuge and potent communion. Enter the sacred gateway of the body in primordial sounding and fluid movement. Listen in heartful Awareness and “feel” the generative mystery all around and inside. We are nourished in the breathing of the world, in the primal pulse of the living cosmos, and in vast Stillness.
In challenging times like these, we need inquiry to go beyond the familiar, to dissolve spells of conditioning and follow the wise longing of our soul. Through initiatory rituals, we make a soulful descent into the fertile dark, where we can transmute loss and despair. Wholeness reveals ways of healing brokenness; new realities emerge.
This retreat includes a “soul quest” time where we are in collective silence for 2 days – where we explore alone and together. The non-local field of awareness is potent when we dive together and immerse in a palpable sense of timelessness and sacredness. Included are transformative elemental rituals that can be done indoors and outside in nature.
Event Format
Through inspirational principles and experiential instructions, Susan or Rebecca will guide meditative and perceptual explorations and offer extended Continuum dives. There will be time for questions and answers and for sharing our experiences.
Limited to 22 participants, Continuum experience a must.

Our human spine consists of 33 vertebrae suspended in the holy water of our cerebral spinal fluid. It is the alchemy of sound, movement and spinal architecture that gives rise to the multidimensional aspect of our human midline, an antenna transmitting and receiving a potent flow of information. Through fluid movement and sound, the song of the spine awakens. In the deep indigenous culture of Mu from the Hawaiian Islands is an ancient comprehension of the human spinal column as a living library of remembrance. Each one of the vertebrae corresponds to a sacred sound or tone. These tones invoke a profound state of coherence and buoyancy, effectively energizing the spinal antenna, opening our memories, and centering us in the most important place we can inhabit – our own midline.
From this reorientation, we meet a world afire with tremendous challenge and demanding change, freshly aligned within the song of the spine.
It is with profound gratitude to the indigenous Mu and their descendant and lineage keeper, Ke'oni Hanalei, that I offer this exploration through the art of Continuum at a time when our organic humanity is threatened. In my heart, I know the power of song to liberate, restore, and re-sanctify the immensity of Love.
In this Resonant Body Intensive, we will slowly move up the spine, week by week, tone by tone. The structure of this intensive is shaped by the content we are exploring, a cumulative journey of moving and singing the spine. Our first class will lay out the context and content, followed by a dive. Each class thereafter builds on the one before, adding more tones into each weekly
dive. Our later classes are longer to allow for a longer dive time.
All classes are online, recorded and uploaded to Dropbox for participants.

SPIRALING INTO THE DARK
A Winter Solstice Continuum Dive • Saturday, December 20, 2025 • 1:00-5:00 pm EST • @ Community Yoga & Wellness Studio • 16 Federal Street Greenfield, MA • Sacred Investment: $30-$75 sliding scale
As our cultural bodies accelerate, many people experience distressful symptoms from sustained resistance to this speeding up. It becomes more urgent that we actively pause and attune ourselves to any moment of quiet and balance that life offers us. Continuum is a profoundly relevant awareness-awakening practice that reminds us how to slow down, quiet our minds, and open our hearts.
Solstice is the perfect time to embrace the contracting forces of our own resistance and meet the unknown with power, curiosity, and creativity.
As we slow down to the speed of water, our tissues hydrate themselves, becoming less dense - more spacious and fluid. This helps us relocate our bodies and differentiate ourselves from the sensory overload of modern life. Continuum retrieves a sense of wholeness and biological optimism from the cultural quicksand fear, sorrow, and pain. What a wonderful way to approach the new year!
Sit with your friends; don’t go back to sleep
Don’t sink like a fish to the bottom of the sea.
Life’s water flows from darkness.
Search the darkness, don’t run from it.
Night travelers are full of light,
and you are, too; don’t leave this companionship.
~ Rumi

We learn to enrich our organism such that patterns that actually work against our system get an opportunity to dissolve. The revitalizing movements of Continuum change and inform the structure of our organism. Through de-acceleration we stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system, inviting serenity and calmness.
We open ourselves to movements that remind our organism where we come from: primal movements of all life are undulating and spiraling: our most primal body intelligence is addressed and stimulated.

This module is part of continuing education Continuum. It is separately bookable as well.

Through enlivening and activating our perceptual awareness, and as we slow down we will begin to recognize the familiar patterns, cultural imprints and limitations that sets the tone in our daily activities in life. Being aware of these patters, we can consciously turn our attention and focus towards the more minute movements, shapes and currents that might still lay in the unknown territory of our organism, waiting to be experienced, felt or expressed in new ways.
In the process of learning to recognize and embrace the more silent realm of movement and sensory awareness inside, we use sound, breath and movement sequences, images and metaphors, contact with self and surroundings through touch and sensing, witness and being witnessed, we call upon the elements, using language to make meaning.
We share insights, discoveries and our experiences/exercises in smaller group or with a partner, as well as in the larger group. Leaning on the group as an intelligent and nourishing playground for learning.
What does this workshop focus on?
• use your curiosity as a guide in self-exploration
• be patient with yourself and rest in the not-knowing
• dissolve some of the cultural and habitual and move to a more silent level of being
• widen and expand the capacity to listen, taste, see, hear, feel, move, think…
• experience what we call a body as a living event, as an ongoing movement through life
In time, hopefully the practice of Continuum can color and inform the way you are making choices, moving, thinking and being in life.
