A virtual live event to be watched on-line at a specific time.
Recorded for you to watch at any time.

The human nervous system is a great friend in that it is constantly scanning the internal and external environment for self-regulation. It is the part of your biology that helps keep you safe.
One of the great detriments is that in modern living, a traffic jam, a paper jam, a long line at the grocery store can register as danger and your nervous system can pump out hormones for you to run or hide...even though there is no need to...
Released from the speed of rapid response, we learn to linger in a world that is richly sensual, growing within ourselves a dexterity of consciousness that liberates us from the rust of habit.

In this weekend workshop we will:
Learn the science of the nervous system and its functions, specifically its relationship and regulation of the health of our organs, spine, breathing and heart.
Explore sounds, breath and undulating movements that reach into the activation of the ventral Vagus Nerve (Polyvagal Theory), providing skills that soothe and settle our nervous system and fostering safe social contact even at a distance.
