Embodied Compassion ~ Thursdays

A Virtual Continuum Class for 5 weeks on Thursdays 12:00 - 2 PM EST on Zoom
Embodied Compassion
The longest relationship we will have in this lifetime is the one with our own body. It is a sacred part of our incarnation. Tending to the nature of our embodiment cultivates a relationship that connects us inwardly and spiritually—not in spite of our physical form, but through it.
When we consciously inhabit our bodies—honoring its signals, listening to its wisdom, softening conditioned patterns—we create the possibility of experiencing wholeness. Sometimes, it’s as simple as slowing down, arriving fully in our own weight, and noticing the ground that supports us. It can be the sacred practice of attuning to the subtle movements, impulses, and expressions within our bio-intelligence—the longings and yearnings for expression, the creative unfolding of our unique selves. It might mean exploring the flow of movement, opening to new responses and possibilities.
Let’s not wait to embrace our loving nature until we feel we are a finished product—until every item on a checklist of self-improvement is complete. Instead, let us trust the evolving, unfolding process of who we are. Through attention, sound, breath, and movement, we can enter the temple of the body as a place to freshly inhabit—to listen, to open, and to offer compassionate movement to the process of simply Being, just as we are.
This fall, we’ll gather for five weeks to dive into the moment-to-moment creativity of love—a love that is enduring, not conditional. Each class will be a vignette—a love note, a doorway—through which we explore the love that we are, and radiate that love outward into the world we share.
