New Birth, New Life: A Continuum Exploration for Spring
“There would be no decrepitude or faculty failure in the aging process if one were able to enjoy a continual process of renewal.”
– Emilie Conrad
What are you birthing in your life just now? What needs or wants renewing?
Birth arises every moment. This is a new moment, potentially full of novelty and renewal. What are you aware of?
Continuum is a mindful movement practice involving slowing down, dissolving habitual density, and orienting to what is unfamiliar, unpatterned, novel, and pleasurable.
Spring is springing in the northern hemisphere. The blooms and natural growth around us can remind us of our inherent potential to let go of the old and transform into a new way of being perhaps with a new physical form.
This 3-hour class is designed to support you in this transformation, a birth into a new life. Continuum involves various breaths, sounding into our tissues, mindful movement with subtle awareness. This enquiry process can settle an activated nervous system, slow us down, and soften tension in our tissues and our minds. As we find ourselves returning to our fluid embryo potential, we can emerge feeling like we are born again, ready to create a new life.
