Bonnie is a Certified Continuum teacher and a registered Somatic Dance, Movement, Educator and Therapist through ISMETA. With an MFA in Dance with emphasis in Choreography and Performance from Mills College, Bonnie has taught Yoga and Meditation, dance technique and theory for over 25 years at the collegiate level. She has choreographed over 40 dance works. Her explorations into the potency of movement and its healing potentials have led her around the world to study Balinese dance, dancing in sacred spaces with Suprapto Suryodrmo in Java, and Yoga and Singing in India. For the past 25 years, Bonnie has returned regularly to Bali and has learned several of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage dances from Balineses revered dance masters including the Legong, Rejang, and Gabor from Sang Ayu Ketut Muklen, Ni Sekarian, and Ibu Arini respectively.  Her work, which integrates Continuum, dance, yoga and meditation, improvisation and creative process is called Individual Movement Art. She is currently exploring Interspecies Collaboration with horses and humans in Eugene.
