Dear Friends in the Fluid Field,

If you live in the US you know that our clock moved back “officially” marking the descent into the darkest season of the year. A time to turn inwards. A time to pause. A time to slow down. A time to hibernate. A time to dream into the seeds we choose to water into fruition to bloom next spring.

At the same time, the demands of societal agreements encourage us to move away from the wisdom of our bio-rhythms. We are expected to travel distances to participate in family gatherings, buy presents, join celebrations, in other words, immerse ourselves in a frenzy of “doingness” instead of just being.

I read this quote a few days back. It inspires me to enter this season in the particular state of our world at this moment with a new perspective:

“This time of the year is an invitation to travel tenderly through uncertainty, to meet life’s strangeness with curiosity and compassion, and to sense what new forms of care might be waiting to emerge.”

I find the teachings of Continuum to be in alignment with this invitation.
Bringing curiosity and compassion to enter the mystery the dark time of the year offers.
Slowing down.
Listening to the sound of our own breath.
Remembering our fluid nature regardless of history and story.
Inviting the body to move guided by its inner choreography, with no outside impositions.
Opening our attention to welcome all sensations in the body.
Resting.
Finding nourishment.
Reclaiming our bio-rhythm.

I invite you to join me and a committed group of practitioners to Celebrate a season of Gratitude and winter Solstice through the lens of Continuum.

May our practice and dedication to create peace and ease in our bodies ripple out to bring peace to all we come in contact with and the world at large.

Warmly,
Marcella
