Pain is the brain’s judgment that we are in danger and need protection, or time to heal. Pain demands our attention. It does not like to be ignored. Pain asks us to listen.
Mysterious ongoing pain or injuries we can’t see or understand can be scary. Fear, however, feeds the brain’s threat response, only increasing the level of pain, our sense of loss, and isolation. This is a vicious cycle that can change if we are willing to listen.
In this 7 class series, learn how pain works and how to listen to it more deeply. Engage the healing superpowers of the body with breath and gentle movement to decrease the level of fear, loss, and pain we live with. Through the practice of Continuum, we can retrieve a perception of wholeness and reclaim a sense of biological optimism.
LISTENING TO PAIN is open to anyone with any amount of movement experience. Beginners welcome!
This Listening to Pain course will follow a progressive curriculum so participants are asked to make every effort to attend all 7 classes in order to support their own progress and help build a container for the group.
Suggested tuition* of $210 for the 7-class series OR only $180 if registered by September 27
*For each class, there is a suggested tuition. If personal circumstances might prevent you from attending, please contact Megan to arrange a rate that is affordable for you.

**Pre-requisite for new and curious explorers: Entering the Deep Listening: An Introduction to Continuum • September 20 • 9:30-11:30 am • $15.00 **Introduction is FREE for anyone who registers for the series.
