Heart of Kindness
We enter the heart of kindness through inquiry at the crossroads where primordial knowing and the tender vulnerability of not-knowing meet. In Continuum explorations, we soften in sensual movement, gentle breathing and primordial sounding. In our depths, we meet spacious boundless Love where our interconnectedness with all of creation becomes palpable.
The heart of kindness reveals the needed conversations deep in our bodies and psyche that invite us to greater inclusion and integration of all hidden, forbidden and not yet-known aspects of our deeper self. Inner healing inspires new avenues to meet the “other”.
Hearts are inspired into action born of empathic perceiving. We need the two wings of loving-kindness and wise discernment. Fierce kindness pierces delusion; it stands you up on your feet to speak truth. Tender hands offer the sweet water of healing touch to meet the anguish of raw wounds.
Kindness is a creative impulse; it invites us to participate in creation, to serve, to bless, to heal, to recognize the goodness of our own heart and to radiate love into our shared world. Genuine kindness cannot be forced or manufactured; it naturally spirals forth from wholeness.
Opening the heart of kindness is an adventure; it is creative, full of surprise and play. Come dare to love, to meet the splendors and aches of the 'terrible beauty' that the river of life delivers.
Format
Each day we will have two Zoom sessions. There will be inspirational talks, experiential instructions. Susan or Rebecca will guide meditative, perceptual explorations, and an extended Continuum dive (no need to look at a screen.) There will be time for questions and answers to refine the process of our soulful inquiry and for sharing our experiences. We will also make use of breakout rooms for paired exercises and smaller group dialogues.
